Gadi Kaufmann, CEO

Gadi Kaufmann is the founder and CEO of Wilshire Capital Management, Inc. Before WilCap, he was Managing Director & CEO of RCLCO (Robert Charles Lesser & Co.), where he now serves as chairman. RCLCO is a premier advisor to the real estate sector around the world.

Since joining RCLCO in 1979, Gadi has led thousands of assignments providing entity- and portfolio-level strategy planning, economic and market analysis, due diligence and underwriting services, workouts and restructuring work, and transaction services.  His clients include private and institutional investors, developers, lenders, and non-real estate entities worldwide.

Gadi currently serves as a special advisor to several CEOs of private companies, including multiple private company advisory boards, and has served on two public company boards in the past. 

He also serves or has served on numerous organization boards and committees, including the Urban Land Institute (ULI), The Ziman Center for Real Estate at UCLA, the Luskin School of Public Affairs at UCLA, the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), and the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA).

Gadi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from UCLA and is married to Karen Kaufmann, a professor at the Luskin School of Public Affairs at UCLA. They have two grown daughters.
